Weather Shield Highlights Latest Products for Custom Home Market at the 2016 International Builders’ Show

1/19/2016
Weather Shield Windows & Doors returns to the International Builders’ Show, and Design and Construction Week in Las Vegas this week with an exhibit full of new and refined products that highlight the latest trends in custom homes. Show attendees will get a first-hand look at many of Weather Shield’s high-end products, from the sleek Contemporary Collection and the new multi-slide door, to the sophisticated Premium Series push-out casement and durable Premium Coastal products, all of which beautifully meet the design specifications of architects, designers and homeowners.
“Weather Shield devotes considerable time and energy to developing architecturally correct and appealing product lines,” said Dave Koester, Weather Shield brand manager. “Our exhibit at the Builders’ Show showcases our attention to detail and breadth of capabilities for which architects and designers have come to know and appreciate us.”

New Products
Weather Shield will unveil its grandest door yet at the Builders’ Show: the multi-slide door, which accommodates openings as large 50’ x 10’. On display will be a multi-slide door in the 90-degree corner, zero-post configuration, with one section automated and recessing into the wall. The door is also available in single and bi-parting configurations in both the Premium Series and the Contemporary Collection.

High-end, Contemporary Products
Today’s modern homes call for modern-style windows and doors like those in the popular Contemporary Collection. With narrow-profile frames and sash, a square glazing bead, custom-designed hardware and the new flush frame on the windows, the Contemporary Collection rivals aluminum and steel windows in style while outperforming them. The Contemporary Collection also has options to complement the style, including radiant metallic finishes and an ultra-sleek enamel coating on the interior. On display will be a jet black corner configuration of a hinged door with transom, and vanishing corner and direct set windows; and the bi-fold and multi-slide doors.

Outdoor Living
As outdoor living areas continue to evolve into personal entertainment venues, patio doors contribute to the grand setting. Few manufacturers offer the broad selection of traditional and monumental doors of Weather Shield. The company’s exhibit booth includes the Contemporary Collection bi-fold, hinged and multi-slide doors, and the Premium Series lift & slide door.

Customization
Every Weather Shield product line offers options to customize the look of a home’s windows and doors, and that will be entirely evident in the IBS booth. The Premium Series, the Contemporary Collection and Premium Coastal offer 7 interior wood species, four interior stain finishes, 55 exterior colors or custom-color matching and several stylish hardware finishes.
