Weather Shield Signature Series Meets Market Need for Mid-Priced Aluminum Clad Wood Product Line

The Signature Series™ from Weather Shield Windows & Doors delivers a mid-priced aluminum-clad product line with options including a choice of interior wood species and finishes, several exterior clad colors and hardware options to appeal to a range of tastes and styles.
“The Signature Series is a great mid-market product line for homeowners who need to balance their desire for the warmth and character of wood with their budget,” said Dave Koester, Weather Shield brand manager. “The Signature Series offers affordable luxury – wood windows and doors with our most popular options, and great thermal performance and energy efficiency.”
The Signature Series include casement, awning, picture, double hung, sliding, direct-set and specialty-shaped windows; and hinged and sliding patio doors.
The Signature Series features the Weather Shield’s TriCore™ frame technology and the Symmetry Balance System™, both of which ensure excellent structural performance, virtual elimination of water infiltration and minimal weathering. Energy-efficient glazing choices, such as Zo-e-shield 5, Zo-e-shield 5 Extreme, Zo-e-shield 6, Zo-e-shield 7, Zo-e-shield Safeguard, Zo-e-shield Safeguard Certified, or Insul Low E2 with argon-gas-filled airspaces, further the energy efficiency of the Signature Series products.

Vast Options for Mid-Level Product Line
The Signature Series offers interiors in standard pine or optional character alder. Both can be factory-finished in four stain finishes: clear satin, fruitwood, chestnut, golden oak; painted with white latex; or primed for finishing at the jobsite. Hardware is available in white, tan, brushed nickel and rustic bronze.
The durable aluminum clad exteriors are offered in seven popular colors: white, cameo, tan, desert tan, Hartford green, craftsman bronze and brick red. Matching exterior trim can be ordered in several profiles including: 1” aluminum brickmould, 3-1/2” aluminum flat casing, aluminum K style casing, SnapFit casing, SnapFit bead casing, SnapFit (3 back bands) and SnapFit (3 sill noses).
For added charm, grilles are available in 5/8” flat and 11/16” sculpted grilles in the airspace, 7/8” and 1-3/8” simulated divided lites, and removable wood grilles.
